Thursday August 14th: One Band that "Never" Goes Out of Tune
They are one of the oldest continuing musical organizations in New Hampshire and even America. The Nevers' 2nd Regiment Band was founded during the civil war, and today is still striking a chord with musicians and fans alike. Also, we visit the American Independence Museum in Exeter. The folks there have made it their mission to provide a place for you to go to see New Hampshire's role in our country's road to independence, and the families who made some extraordinary accomplishments during that same time period. You'll be amazed by what you can learn from this place!
And on Fritz Wetherbee's NH: They stole this cannon one night but once they got it here nobody wanted it.
